Seamless agent should be used with caution. It will delay the response time of the system, and may degrade user experience in that respect. It will also increase cost of service. However it would understand the intent more accurately. Therefore, it should be used especially in complex tasks such as e-mail or address inquiry from the user. 

It can also be used in very complex dialogue scenarios during the early stages of production system.
