Adjacency Feature is used when a term is used in a different meaning than the usual. It is also used with another specific term with certain order and/or location. 
For example, a user could say “I want to have information” about any topic. Such as “I want to have information about my credit card debt” or “I want to have information about exclusive offers”. For this reason, “information” is not accepted as a distinguishing word and it is not necessary to add this term on the tree. 
But a user who says the sentence “A transaction has been made from my account without any information” is expected to be directed to “Fraud and Suspected Transactions” menu. 
To avoid unnecessary matches on “Fraud and Suspected Transactions” menu caused by utterances containing the word “information”, this one should be bounded to an adjacency rule.
